Last month I had the most wonderful vacation to Tucson, Arizona to visit my very dear friend, Katrina. I have to say – Arizona, I am in love! Desert, mountains, sunshine and cowboys? I will happily return any day. Some of these photos are compliments from Katrina, who documented our adventures ranging from cowboy boot shopping, rodeos, Mexican restaurants, tamales, and mountain climbing. I hope you guys enjoy looking through snippets of my 4 day vacation in the desert.

What a beautiful family! The pictures are fantastic, too!
There was no place more perfect than Chicago’s Lincoln Park Zoo for Anne and Brian’s engagement session. Not only is it where they first met, but it’s also where Brian took Anne on their very first date. During their session, we tried to relive moments of that first date by walking around to some of their most memorable spots. These two make such a beautiful couple and I can’t wait for their April wedding to come around!

Melissa and Dan were married at the beginning of December in Davenport, Iowa at the gorgeous St. Paul Lutheran Church. Melissa looked stunning as she walked down the aisle wearing a gorgeous strapless dress with sweetheart neckline, vintage pearls, and her bridal white Toms. After the ceremony, we explored the streets of downtown Davenport and then the historic <a href=”http://www.hotelblackhawk.com” target=”new”>Hotel Blackhawk</a> with their wedding party for some fun photos. They celebrated with friends and family at the Figge Art Museum. The decor was absolutely beautiful. Tables were lit by candlelight and were decorated with colors of white, plum an gold. Instead of having just one wedding cake, Melissa and Dan had 5 smaller cakes, each a different flavor, and all equally beautiful and all equally delicious. Thanks again to Melissa and Dan for letting me be a part of your day. It was fabulous!

The pictures are WONDERFUL – I particularly liked the “fun” pictures, like the one of Daniel and his groomsmen sitting holding the girls bouquets and smelling them… clever and fun! I also liked the still snapshots before the wedding. The backgrounds were all so different and made for an outstanding album. Good job!

I was impressed with the “untraditional” poses, especially liked the wedding party at the old truck dock, lots of contrast and everyone looked to be having FUN! Great shots!
Pictures were wonderful. Each one was better than the one before. I especially liked the ones of the happy couple in the outside doorway. May you have a long happy life together.
